KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, October 13, 2017 (New Strait Times): Pos Malaysia Bhd has released its fourth Festival Food series comprising stamps and other products to highlight the upcoming Festival of Lights or Deepavali celebration. The fourth edition stamps feature festive foods that are usually being enjoyed during Deepavali including Vadai, Muruku, Paal Kova and Payasam, Thosai and Idli, and Banana Leaf Rice.
“We chose these delicacies as these are the most favourite options of food by the Indians during the festivities. This time we want to promote the traditional values of the festive foods by depicting the unique vibrant colour and shapes of them on our products. Stamp enthusiasts can get Indian festive food themed stamps from Oct 17,” said stamp and philately unit, commercial postal and courier head Diyana Lean Abdullah.
