BUENOS AIRES, July 15, 2019 (Buenos Aires Ciudad, translated from Spanish): As part of the celebrations of 70 years of diplomatic relations between Argentina and India, the “BACelebra India” took place on Sunday, July 14, on Avenida de Mayo and Bolivar. The public enjoyed the Hindu traditions: dances, gastronomy and much more. The celebration featured 50 stands with typical foods, handicrafts, henna tattoos, books, traditional clothes and Indian tea. Around midday there was a yoga masterclass and during the day there were 16 groups of music and dance that showed their melodies, dances and traditional costumes on stage.

There were classical dances and music. The School of Divine Values performed kirtans (meditations with mantras) and bhajans (devotional songs) were sung by Sahaja Yoga. The Undersecretariat of Human Rights and Cultural Pluralism, through its General Directorate of Communities, continues to promote and display the culture of the city’s various communities in order to keep it alive for all the residents of the City.
