UNITED STATES, December 15, 2021 (Press Release): Bhumi Global, an international, Hindu-based nonprofit committed to climate action that works in collaboration with the United Nations, is looking for interns to work alongside staff and volunteers to implement key facets of the organization’s programs and initiatives. Interns would get hands-on experience in Bhumi’s workstreams, including communications, operations, finance, development, strategic partnerships/outreach and engagement with the UN. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to meet and learn from important environmental leaders while becoming immersed in a global movement to save the planet.
Interns will receive academic credit through their higher education institutions. In order to be eligible, interns must provide Bhumi’s director with the necessary forms, while also working with their campus internship supervisors to ensure credit-eligibility. Spring semester internships will go from February 1 to April 22.
