PUNE, INDIA, September 8, 2024 (Jagran): Ganesh Chaturthi 2024: Devotion met grandeur on the second day of Ganesh Mahotsav when 42,000 women devotees performed an enthralling morning Ganpati aarti at the Shreemant Dagduseth Halwai Ganpati temple in Pune on Sunday as festivals take off across the nation. The famous Pune temple reverberated with holy chants as women devotees flocked in to recite the Ganpati Atharvashirsha prayers on Rishi panchani–the second day of the festival this morning. To take part in the grand traditional aarti, which is performed every year in the temple, women gathered at the temple pandal from all across the city in the early morning hours. Last year, a gathering of over 32,000 women performed the spellbinding chants in an opulent display of their affection towards the revered Hindu Deity.
