KAUAI, HAWAII, May 2, 2023 (HPI): The editors of Hinduism Today are working on the 1,452 sacred devotional songs of Tayumanavar for a future article and book. They are seeking help from a Tamil-speaking linguist who can help them sort through difficult passages in the current English translation, done by Dr. B Natarajan decades back. The Tamil songs were written between 1720 ce to 1742, so in relatively modern Tamil.
This could be a form of seva to the magazine, or a paid consulting project. An important requirement is response time. We typically need a response to our queries in 2-3 days.
