Asian Harmony

(With picture) Beautifully costumed Indian and Korean girls were only one of the many charms of an overwhelmingly picturesque 1993 Queens Festival held last summer in New York City. This unique pan-Asian ethnic good-will event helps unite Chinese, Japanese, Asian Indian, West Indian, Black African and Hispanic communities and attracted 4 million people this year. The theme was "Salute to the Family."
